Who we are

Hoeffner Contracting is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) that blends the grit of Montana ranching with the precision of modern construction and innovation. Our roots run deep in agriculture—built on a ranch upbringing and an Agriculture degree from the University of Idaho—paired with a career in Navy Special Operations. That background forged a culture of resilience, adaptability, and mission success that carries into every project we take on.

We specialize in excavation, irrigation systems, pond development, mine site remediation, forestry support, and remote infrastructure projects across Montana and beyond. Our clients range from private landowners to federal agencies like the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and BLM, USFS, where we deliver solutions that restore landscapes, strengthen infrastructure, and prepare ground for the future.

Looking forward, Hoeffner Contracting is expanding into heavy-lift drone and advanced aerial applications—bringing new tools to agriculture, construction, forestry, logistics, and emergency response. From boots on the ground to technology in the air, we are committed to delivering rugged, dependable service with an innovative edge.

At the core, we are a veteran-owned team that values integrity, trust, and results. Whether supporting federal agencies, industry partners, or fellow landowners, we bring the same mindset to every project: get the job done right, the first time.
